Gary Neville has hit out at Robert Sanchez's part in Arsenal's second goal against Chelsea after Jurrien Timber turned Declan Rice's corner in at the back post. The Gunners had already netted from a set-piece in the first half when William Saliba nodded in from close range.
Chelsea levelled through their own corner after Piero Hincapie turned the ball into his own net from Reece James' corner. Yet in the second half, with the Blues appearing to have the upper hand, Arsenal edged ahead once more with yet another goal from a dead-ball situation.
Rice's delivery to the back post was headed home by Timber, despite furious protests from the Chelsea players. Sanchez and his defenders remonstrated with referee Darren England whilst the home side celebrated.

However, replays revealed that the goalkeeper had erred with his positioning, allowing Timber to capitalise. Neville laid the blame squarely at Sanchez's door during Sky Sports' coverage, condemning his decision-making.
Following the goal, the former Manchester United defender initially queried whether a foul had been committed, before reassessing after watching the incident again.
"Chelsea are asking for VAR but Sanchez is all over the place in my view," he said. "There's not a chance of a foul. It's really poor goalkeeping."

Neville also added: "Sanchez has had a really poor day. He got the flight of the ball wrong."
The Spaniard was caught out on several occasions with the ball at his feet, almost gifting Arsenal an early goal after failing to deal with a routine clearance.
Matters deteriorated further for Chelsea shortly after falling behind when Pedro Neto was shown a red card. The winger received his first booking in the wake of Timber's goal for dissent, before leaving referee England with little option but to produce a second for a reckless tackle on Gabriel Martinelli.
As Arsenal broke forward on the counter-attack, Neto chased the Brazilian down before clumsily lunging into the challenge. Rosenior's side had chances with 10 men but subsequently squandered their opportunity to climb into fifth position in the table.
Having had more possession than the league leaders while also hardly being troubled by Arsenal, aside from set-pieces, Rosenior was understandably far from pleased after the game.
He said on Sky Sports: "It's been the same story for the last three games, you have performances to get results but its the same story. [We're] in the ascendency in all three games [against Arsenal, Leeds and Burnley] and we just...
"We're together because what I will never do, winning or losing games, is start pointing the finger at players but it is clear where we need to improve. It's not our football or our attacking play, their goalkeeper made some incredible saves today.
We need to make sure we are ruthless in both boxes and to concede two goals from corners and to get another red card, that has been the story of our season and the story of our last few games."
