Hyundai Feb 2026 Sales Report: As soon as the month of March arrives, the sales reports of car companies for the month of February have started coming out. The month of February was very good for the automobile industry, and a large number of vehicles were sold. South Korea’s leading car manufacturer Hyundai also released its February 2026 sales report, in which the company sold a total of 66,134 units, which is the largest record till date.
According to this figure, last year in February 2025, Hyundai had sold 58,727 vehicles, which means there has been an increase of 12% in sales this year. Hyundai’s flagship car Creta has played an important role in this success. This is the company’s best-selling car, and has been dominating the market for quite some time.
Average sales of 15,000 Creta per month
According to statistics, on an average more than 15,000 people buy Creta every month. Its price starts at ₹10.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and the price of the top model goes up to ₹20.20 lakh. This success of Creta has helped the company to establish a strong position in its market in India.
Company’s focus on budget cars
Hyundai company is now making inroads in the budget segment as well. Recently it launched the cheaper model Era of its premium hatchback car i20, whose ex-showroom price has been kept at ₹ 5.99 lakh. Despite the low price, the company has given great features like 6 airbags and digital meter in this model, which make it even more attractive.
Challenge to Tata Punch EV
Hyundai is planning to launch many new vehicles in the coming months. The company will launch a small electric car to challenge the Tata Punch EV, which will be based on the Inster sold abroad.
Apart from this, Hyundai may launch a new car named Bayon to compete with Maruti Suzuki. This year, Hyundai may also introduce facelift models of Ioniq 5, Exter, and Verna. With the launch of these new vehicles, the company aims to further strengthen its hold in the Indian market. Thus, with Hyundai’s strong sales in February 2026 and upcoming new launches, the company’s future looks quite bright.
