New Delhi: Nearly three months after its launch in India, the Yamaha XSR 155 has become more expensive. The company has revised the prices depending on the colour option, as the bike is sold in a single variant but offered in four shades.

The increase is not the same across the range. While one colour continues at its launch price, the others have received a hike of up to Rs 9,000. Here is a clear look at the updated prices.

The Yamaha Blue shade, inspired by the bigger XSR 900, remains at its introductory price of Rs 1.50 lakh. This is also the only version that comes with gold-coloured USD front forks. It has not received any price increase.

The Red colour has seen the smallest hike and is now priced at Rs 1.53 lakh. The Silver option costs Rs 1.57 lakh after the revision. The biggest jump is for the Green/Bronze and White shade, which is now priced at Rs 1.59 lakh. This means the maximum increase goes up to Rs 9,000, depending on the colour chosen.

At Rs 1.59 lakh, the top colour option of the XSR 155 is priced close to the base version of the MT-15. It is also still priced below most variants of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, except for its entry-level trim.

The XSR 155 is built on the same platform as the R15 and MT-15. However, its design is completely different. It follows a retro style with modern touches, which sets it apart visually from its siblings.
