Railway Wheel Factory has announced recruitment for apprentice posts (RWF Recruitment 2026). For which the application process has started from 28 February 2026. In which information from eligibility to selection process is given. Therefore all candidates are advised to read it before filling the form.

The total number of vacancies is 192. The vacancy is divided into different trades. There are 85 vacancies for Fitter, 31 for Machinist, 8 for Mechanic Motor Vehicle, 5 for Turner, 23 for CNC Programming cum Operator, 18 for Electrician and 22 for Electronic Mechanic.

Candidates will have to pay Rs 100 Shukla to fill the form. However, SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from fee payment. The duration of training will be for 1 year. However, the training period for CNC Programming cum Operator will be 6 months.

Who can fill the form?

Candidates who have passed 10th with 50% marks from a recognized school or board can apply. Apart from this, they should also have a National Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training. Engineering graduates and diploma holders will not be allowed to fill the form. The minimum age limit should be 15 years and maximum 24 years as on 1 March 2026. SC/ST will get 5 years relaxation and OBC will get 3 years relaxation in age limit.

Selection Process and Salary

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list. Short list of candidates will be prepared on the basis of score obtained in 10th and ITI. Then medical examination will be done. Registration on the apprenticeship portal will be mandatory. Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Electrician and Electronic Mechanic Apprentice posts will get a monthly stipend of Rs 12,261 after appointment. CNC programming cum operator will get a monthly stipend of Rs 10,899.
