The strikes came in response to US and Israeli-led strikes on Saturday (February 28) that targeted Iranian targets. This retaliatory action is now continuing for the fourth consecutive day.
Following the attack, the US Embassy issued a ‘shelter in place’ advisory for Americans in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran. It was said that American citizens should not go near the embassy and stay safe. Saudi officials have not yet given information regarding this matter.
How many Indians died in the war between Israel and Iran?
At least three Indian citizens have died and about 20 people have been injured in the Iranian attacks.
1. Three Indians died and more than 20 were injured in attacks on two commercial ships in Oman.
2. An Indian citizen died at MKD Vyom. The attack resulted in a fire and explosion in the main engine room.
3. Two Indian crew of Palau-flagged oil tanker Skylight killed. There were 16 Indians in the total team of 21 members of this ship. Three other Indians were injured.
4. Another Indian seriously injured in the attack on LCT Alyh ship.
