New Delhi: Classic Legends has introduced a new version of the Yezdi Roadster called the Red Wolf. The launch was timed with the Blood Moon lunar eclipse. This is a special edition model and comes at an introductory price of Rs 2,09,950 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Red Wolf does not bring mechanical changes but focuses mainly on styling. It gets a distinct look compared to the regular Roadster, while keeping the same engine and hardware underneath.

The Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf follows a neo-retro theme, taking inspiration from Yezdi motorcycles of the 1970s. It is finished in a deep gloss red colour. Chrome elements can be seen on the exhaust, engine and handlebars, giving it a slightly old-school appearance.

The bike continues with the sculpted fuel tank seen on the standard Roadster. It also gets a wide rear hugger fender and a bobber-style tail section. The seat is finished in brown and supports both solo and pillion riding, thanks to its modular setup. Yezdi says the Roadster Red Wolf comes with the widest rear tyre in its segment.

Engine and performance

Mechanically, the Red Wolf remains the same as the standard Yezdi Roadster. It uses the 350 Alpha2 liquid-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine produces 29 bhp and 29.8 Nm of torque. An assist and slipper clutch is also part of the package.

For braking, the motorcycle uses a 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. It gets dual-channel ABS supplied by Continental.

Features and dimensions

The motorcycle has a 12.5-litre fuel tank, and the company claims a riding range of over 350 km. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, which are tuned for comfortable touring.

Seat height is 795 mm, while ground clearance stands at 171 mm. The bike also features centre-forward footpegs aimed at offering a relaxed riding position. LED lighting and twin-barrel exhausts are included as standard.

Classic Legends is offering the Red Wolf with an Ownership Assurance Programme. This includes a four-year or 50,000 km warranty, along with optional maintenance plans that can extend up to five years.
