1. Yuvraj Singh's Six Sixes in One Over (2007)

In the inaugural edition, Yuvraj went on the rampage in Durban as Stuart Broad was sent into the stands six times in an over. Those runs helped Yuvraj score what was then the fastest T20I 50. It still is the fastest T20 World Cup 50. Yuvraj was the first to hit six sixes in an over in T20Is.
2. Rohit Sharma's T20I Debut (2007)

In the very same Durban game where Yuvraj went after England's bowling, a young man played his first T20I for India. Yes, we speak of Rohit. The then 21-year-old would start a career that would see him break several world records. Now, after over a year since he retired from the format, 'Hitman' still has the most T20I sixes to his name. He also shares the world record for most T20I 100s with Glenn Maxwell.
3. Lord's Thriller (2009)

After restricting England to 153/7 thanks to Harbhajan Singh (3/30) and Ravindra Jadeja (2/26) at Lord's, India went in pursuit of the target. MS Dhoni (30 not out) and Yusuf Pathan (33 not out) got India close but they only managed 150/5 and fell four runs short of the target. England won by three runs and it was a thriller to remember.
4. Harbhajan Singh's Web of Destruction (2012)Rohit led the way with 55 as India finished with 170/4. England in reply, managed just 80. Harbhajan's magical spell left them all at sea. The veteran off-spinner took 4/12 to inflict a 90-run defeat on the 2010 champions. Harbhajan was considered to be past his prime during this competition but he proved that class was permanent. Those at the ground in Colombo and those who watched on TV were mesmerised by his bowling.
5. Buttler-Hales Tsunami (2022)

It was a nightmare in Adelaide for India in the semifinal after they set England 169 to win. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler chased down the target without any casualties with four overs to spare. Buttler smashed a 49-ball 80 while Hales slammed a 47-ball 86. Indian fans were left shellshocked and English supporters could not hide their joy. It was T20I batting at its best as the Indian attack was made to look like net bowlers. England hardly broke a sweat and marched into the final with ease.
