Molly Tea, a popular Chinese tea chain, is opening its first outlet in Singapore on Tuesday at the Orchard Central shopping mall.
The brand will roll out six of its signature drinks, along with a discount on its soft launch and then a buy-one-get-one promotion on its grand opening on Friday, according to posts on its Instagram page. Its full menu will be available from next Monday.
The 1,400 square-foot (130-square-meter) outlet, which seats 40, is the chain’s largest store in Southeast Asia, where it is also present in Jakarta and Bangkok.
A second Singapore location is slated to open by June at the Singapore Land Tower building.

The initial lineup features jasmine drinks that the chain is known for, such as Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, Snowy Jasmine and Pistachio Jasmine Coconut, with prices ranging from S$5.20 (US$4.09) to S$6.50, according to The Straits Times.
The store will also sell merchandise including tote bags and tumblers, along with Singapore-exclusive blind box magnets featuring Molly’s mascot dressed in a Merlion costume.
Founded in Shenzhen in 2021, Molly Tea takes its name from the jasmine flower, or mo li hua in Chinese.
The brand has built a strong following in recent years, often drawing long lines at its outlets. It has partnered with celebrities such as Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai, Chinese actor Xia Zhiguang and Song Yuqi of South Korean girl group I-dle, AsiaOne reported.
It currently operates more than 2,000 outlets across China, the U.S., Britain, Australia and Southeast Asia.
