IPL to return to Chinnaswamy Stadium as RCB set to play five home matches in Bengaluru

New Delhi: Indian Premier League (IPL) action is set to return to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have confirmed they will play five of their seven home matches at the iconic venue. The Chinnaswamy Stadium has not hosted a competitive cricket game since the unfortunate stampede during RCB’s title celebration in April last year.
RCB were contemplating playing their home matches at a different venue after the stadium became the centre of controversy following the stampede last year.
