Dubai has been rocked by another explosion as Iranian missiles continue to rain down on the UAE. Dubai authorities have confirmed that loud sounds heard across parts of the emirate were the result of successful air defence interceptions.
In a statement, the Dubai Media Office said the competent authorities are continuing to monitor the situation and take necessary measures to ensure public safety, urging residents to rely on official sources for information. Earlier, residents in Dubai reported hearing a powerful blast that shook parts of the city, with warning sirens sounding shortly afterwards. An X user said a strong explosion was heard near Dubai Marina, with the blast also audible from Mina Seyahi. Elsewhere in the region, explosions were reported in Doha, Qatar, and in Abu Dhabi, while air raid sirens were activated in Kuwait.
