Iran denies reports of Intelligence Ministry contacting CIA for talks

In the midst of the ongoing U.S.-Israeli military campaign against Iran, Tehran has categorically rejected claims that its Ministry of Intelligence reached out to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to explore ceasefire or de-escalation discussions.
The denial comes after several reports indicated that operatives from Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence had signaled openness to talks with the CIA shortly after the conflict escalated on February 28, 2026.
Iranian statements underscore a consistent position: no concessions or dialogues while under attack. This aligns with broader rhetoric framing the conflict as aggression that must be met with resistance rather than compromise.
