Mumbai Amidst the ongoing debate regarding working hours in Bollywood, director Anubhav Sinha has clearly said that if the conditions of an artiste do not suit you, then you are not obliged to work with him.
Responding to the work-life balance debate that started after Deepika Padukone allegedly demanded 8-hour shifts, she said the issue was unnecessarily blown out of proportion.

In an interview given to journalist Subhankar Mishra, Anubhav Sinha said,

He believes that agreements and negotiations are part of the normal process in the industry.

Recalling the days of shooting of his film ‘Mulk’, Anubhav Sinha said that Rishi Kapoor had avoided night shoots after reading the script.
Sinha said that since he wanted Rishi Kapoor in the film, there was no problem in coordinating with him.
What did Deepika say on the controversy?
On the controversy to Deepika Padukone’s demand for 8 hour shift, Anubhav said that he does not believe in gossip.
He reiterated that if a producer or director finds an artiste’s demands wrong, then instead of creating controversy, a professional decision should be taken directly.
