CBSE board examinations are currently going on. Psychology paper is going to be held on Thursday 5th March. The exam will start at 10:30 am. It will end at 1:30 pm. - While writing the answer of Psychology subject, write the exact definition of the words. Don’t forget to underline or highlight keywords.
- Try to write the answer point wise. Do not write long paragraphs for 2-3 marks questions.
- Be sure to include an example with the definition. This makes your answer impressive and increases your chances of getting maximum marks.
- Read the question paper carefully. Pay attention to words like define/explain/discuss/differentiate. Write the answer accordingly.
- While writing answers for short answer type and long answer type questions, write an introduction of 2 to 3 lines. After this, write the body point wise and add the conclusion at the end.
- Always try to write answers based on NCERT.
- Take special care of presentation. Start the new answer on a new line. Try to reduce mistakes in the answer sheet.
- For case study questions, read the case first. Recognize the problem. Only after this include the principles.
- Time management is very important to perform well in the examination. That’s why don’t waste too much time on any one question. Solve MCQ questions in less time. Keep 10 to 15 minutes to check the answers.

Psychology Theory paper tomorrow is of 70 marks. 30 marks are for practical and internal assessment. The question paper is divided into 6 sections. Multiple choice questions of one mark are asked in Section A (Question No. 1 to 14). Section-B (Question No. 15 to 19) is very short answer type questions. Each question carries two marks, word limit is 30. Section-C (Question No. 20 to 23) is short answer type questions, each question carries three marks. The words for this are 60.
Section-D also has short answer type questions (question numbers 24 to 27), each carrying four marks. Its word limit is 150. Section-E (Question No. 28-29) contains long answer type questions, each question carries 6 marks. Its word limit is 200. Section-F is case based questions. The word limit for one mark questions is 20 and for 2 mark questions the word limit is 30.
