New Delhi:Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar has shared important information regarding the US-Israel joint attack on Iran. He told that this military action is one such "operational opportunities"Which came to light after the end of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Tel Aviv tour. His statement has clarified many important aspects regarding the timing of the attack and the decision making process.
According to the report, no prior plan to attack Tehran was shared during Prime Minister Modi’s visit. The Ambassador made it clear that till that time no concrete decision on any such action had been taken, hence the question of sharing any such sensitive information with the Indian leadership did not arise.

According to media reports, Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar said,"This was an operational opportunity which came up only after the departure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Of course, in our conversation with PM Modi during the visit, we talked about regional development, but we could not actually share something that we did not know."
He told that the decision to attack Iran was taken about two days after Prime Minister Modi’s return. This action received formal approval from the security cabinet on Saturday morning. After this joint military action was taken.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Israel on a two-day visit on 25 and 26 February. This was his second visit to Israel after the historic visit of 2017. The 2017 visit was considered the beginning of a new chapter in India-Israel relations, reducing long-standing diplomatic pressure and laying a strong foundation for bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Azar’s statement makes it clear that the attack on Iran was not part of any pre-planned program, but was a decision taken on the basis of the opportunity that arose in the changing situation.
