The Central Bank of India has opened the application process for Specialist Officer positions. Candidates interested in Specialist Officer positions at the Central Bank of India are invited to apply. A total of 275 Specialist Officer positions will be filled under this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website until March 23, 2026.

Who Can Apply?
To apply for Specialist Officer positions, candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Science (BE), a B.Tech (B.Tech) in Computer Science or Computer Applications (B.Tech) from a recognized institution in India. Candidates must also meet the other eligibility criteria.

The age limit for applying will be calculated as of January 31, 2026. The maximum age limit for candidates is 30, 35, or 45 years, depending on the position.
Age relaxation will also be available. SC and ST candidates will be given a five-year age relaxation, OBC candidates will be given a three-year age relaxation, and candidates with disabilities will be given a ten-year age relaxation.

Exam Pattern
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and an interview. The written examination will consist of 75 questions from subject-related topics, reasoning, banking, and general awareness, carrying 100 marks. The exam will be conducted for 90 minutes. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Successful candidates will be called for an interview.

Registration Fee
Candidates from all categories will be required to pay separate registration fees to apply. The registration fee for SC and ST candidates is ₹175, and for unreserved category candidates, the registration fee is ₹850. Applications without the registration fee will not be accepted.

The examination will be held in April. The CBI will soon release an official notification regarding the exam date.
