British actress Emma Watson is reportedly in a new relationship with Mexican businessman Gonzalo Hevia Baillères. The pair recently sparked dating speculation after they were photographed together during a trip to Punta Mita, a luxury resort destination on Mexico’s Pacific coast. According to Mexican publication Quién, Watson and Baillères were seen enjoying a holiday together and spending time at several locations during their visit. The magazine published photos showing the two sharing a dinner at an upscale restaurant in Mexico City. In other images, the pair were reportedly seen showing affection while waiting at an airport, adding fuel to rumours about their relationship.

While neither Emma Watson nor Baillères has publicly confirmed the relationship, their repeated appearances together have drawn attention online and across entertainment media.

Reports suggest Watson and Baillères may have been seeing each other since December 2025. Their first reported public sighting together took place at the luxury ski resort of Courchevel in the French Alps late last year. Interest around the pair continued to grow in early 2026. A post shared on the celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi claimed that the two attended a wedding in Mexico on February 1. At the time, no photos from the event were widely circulated, leaving the claims unconfirmed.

However, their recent trip to Punta Mita appears to have strengthened speculation that the two are indeed spending time together. The destination, known for its private estates and high-end resorts, is a popular holiday spot for celebrities and wealthy travellers.

Gonzalo Hevia Baillères comes from one of Mexico’s most prominent business families. He is part of the fourth generation connected to Grupo BAL, a large conglomerate founded by businessman Alberto Baillères. The group operates across industries such as mining, finance, retail and insurance, and includes the well-known department store chain El Palacio de Hierro.

Baillères is the son of Gonzalo Hevia and Teresa Baillères and the nephew of Alejandro Baillères, who currently leads Grupo BAL. The family is widely considered one of the wealthiest in Mexico, with a reported fortune exceeding $6.6 billion. Despite his family background, Baillères has pursued his own business ventures. In 2021, he launched Lok, a technology startup that focuses on smart lockers designed to simplify online shopping deliveries and returns.

Earlier in his career, he founded INSAITE, an artificial intelligence company created in 2019 that was later sold to a larger software firm in 2021. He has also worked with major companies and previously served as a junior board representative at FEMSA. Baillères also runs HBeyond, an investment firm that supports technology-focused projects and operates across cities such as New York, Miami and Mexico City.

Before the recent rumours involving Watson, Baillères had reportedly been linked to Mexican singer and actress Belinda in 2022, although neither publicly confirmed the relationship.

Emma Watson, meanwhile, has been connected to several actors and entrepreneurs over the years. Her most recent reported relationship was with Oxford classmate Kieran Brown in 2024. Reports suggested the two dated for a period before parting ways within a year.
