New Delhi. Sharp fluctuations are being seen in the prices of gold and silver. Increasing international tensions, especially the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and news of attacks on Iran, increased concerns among investors. The impact of this situation was clearly visible on India’s bullion market also.

Let us tell you that a sharp rise was recorded in the prices of gold and silver this morning, but by afternoon both prices fell due to profit booking. This has definitely brought some relief to investors and buyers.

Big U-turn in silver

Silver prices had touched record levels this morning. On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver had reached the level of around ₹ 2,70,484. But by around 12 noon, there was a sharp decline and the price came down to around ₹ 2,62,000 per kg. During this period, the price of silver declined by about ₹ 8,484. According to market experts, this decline is mainly due to profit booking (profit booking) by investors.

Gold prices also slipped

Gold prices also declined compared to the morning. While gold had reached around ₹ 1,62,598 per 10 grams in the morning, it fell to around ₹ 1,61,350 per 10 grams at around 12:10 pm. That means, compared to the morning, there was a decrease of about ₹ 1,248 in the price of gold.

Latest gold price in different cities

Slight difference is being seen in the prices of gold in different cities of the country.

24 carat gold price in Kolkata is approximately ₹1,61,600 per 10 grams.

In Hyderabad, 24 carat gold has reached around ₹ 1,62,070 per 10 grams.

Gold is being found most expensive today in Chennai, where the price of 24 carat gold was recorded at around ₹ 1,62,280 per 10 grams.
