
After the failure in T20 World Cup 2026, there has been a major change in the Pakistan team. Pakistan's selection committee has changed. After being eliminated from the Super 8 round, Pakistan's selector Aleem Dar had left his post and now Misbah Ul Haq has returned in his place in the selection committee. Misbah ul Haq is the former captain and former head coach of Pakistan. He was a part of the team in the 2007 T20 World Cup and due to a bad shot in the final, Pakistan lost the title battle. India won the first T20 World Cup by defeating Pakistan.

Currently, Pakistan's selection committee includes Aaqib Javed, Asad Shafiq and Usman Hashmi. Now Misbah ul Haq has also entered. Not only the selection committee, the Pakistani selectors have also made many major changes in the team. Sam Ayyub, Babar Azam have been dropped from the team.

Misbah ul Haq's career
Misbah ul Haq has had a very long career. This player has played 75 Tests, 162 ODIs and 39 T20 matches for Pakistan. Misbah has scored 5222 runs in Tests, in which he scored 10 centuries. He scored 5122 runs in ODI. He scored 788 runs in T20.
