Till a few days ago, Sanju Samson was not even getting fit in the playing-11 of Team India. He was not getting a place in the team in the initial matches of T20 World Cup 2026. Even captain Suryakumar Yadav had to say in the press conference that how could he remove Abhishek Sharma or Tilak Verma for Samson. But a defeat in the Super-8 round changed everything. Samson entered the team and after that this batsman gave an answer to everyone. After playing the match-winning innings for Team India in the Super-8, Samson also showed his magic in the semi-finals and scored an explosive half-century.
