The National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine, under the Ministry of AYUSH, has announced recruitment for six Member positions. Qualified and experienced candidates can apply online until March 30th.
Good news for candidates preparing for government jobs. The NCISM has issued a notification for recruitment to the position of Member (ISM). This recruitment is being conducted under the Ministry of AYUSH and will fill a total of six positions. Qualified and experienced candidates can apply.
This recruitment will fill a total of six positions. Three of these positions are for the Medical Assessment and Rating Board, while three are for the Ethics and Registration Board.
Of these six positions, three are reserved for Ayurveda specialists. The remaining three are open to qualified candidates from any Indian system of medicine. The selected members will monitor the quality and standards of the institutions.
Candidates applying for these positions must possess a postgraduate degree in a subject related to the Indian system of medicine from a recognized university. They must also be registered with the State Medical Council, Central Council, or NCISM.
Candidates must have at least 15 years of experience in the medical field. At least 7 of these 15 years must be in the field of health or education development in the Indian system of medicine.
The maximum age limit for candidates applying for this position is 64 years. This age will be calculated as of March 30, 2026. Candidates older than this age will not be eligible to apply.
