The makers of Spirit have officially begun the countdown to the film’s release. Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the highly anticipated project will arrive in cinemas worldwide on March 5, 2027.
A striking poster announcing the date was recently unveiled by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The announcement marked exactly one year to go for the film’s release. Sharing the poster online, the filmmaker wrote, “#SpiritMayhemIn1Year.”

The newly released poster shows Prabhas with his hands tied in white bandages. The intense visual suggests that the film may feature a violent and gritty storyline.
Prabhas will reportedly portray an IPS officer and his character is expected to be a significant shift for the actor who is often seen in larger-than-life characters in action spectacles.

Addressing those rumours on social media, the actor earlier wrote, “To all the toxic #Fakenews peddlers…. On #Spirit the movie. We have not even started shooting for my scenes .. and you whatsup factories speculate stories. Grow up and have a life.”
However, recent reports now suggest that Prakash Raj may no longer be part of the project. As of now, there is no official confirmation about who will take over the role.
