Yuva Sangam: The Ministry of Education has opened the online registration process for the sixth phase of the Yuva Sangam program under the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' (EBSB) initiative. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official portal ebsb.aicte-india.org or ekbharat.gov.in. This program aims to introduce the country's youth to the culture, traditions, and development of different states.
Youth between the ages of 18 and 30 are eligible to participate in this program. Eligibility criteria include students from higher educational institutions, volunteers from the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), as well as young professionals.
22 Institutions Designated Nodal Centers
Twenty-two higher educational institutions across the country have been selected as nodal institutions for the sixth phase of Yuva Sangam. Selected participants will be sent on a 5- to 7-day educational and cultural trip to their respective state or union territory. This period does not include travel time. Through this trip, participants will have the opportunity to closely understand the social, cultural, and educational activities of other states.
Yuva Sangam Phase VI: Five Key Pillars of the Program
This program is designed around five key thematic pillars, the 5Ps. These include:

Technology and Innovation
Through these pillars, participants will have the opportunity to directly engage with the country's cultural heritage, development projects, technological advancements, and local communities. The program also promotes experiential learning, in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

What is the Yuva Sangam Program?
Yuva Sangam is an initiative run by the Department of Higher Education that aims to strengthen the spirit of "unity in diversity." Through this program, students from different states and union territories are taken on field trips to each other's regions to gain a closer understanding of the country's diverse cultural traditions, languages, and lifestyles. This initiative plays a vital role in promoting mutual dialogue and national integration among youth.
