Popular messaging app WhatsApp has introduced a new feature for iPhone users that will make the chatting experience even easier and faster. With the new update, when users type an emoji in a chat, the corresponding sticker will automatically appear on the screen. This eliminates the need to open the sticker keyboard separately to send stickers.
This feature is currently included in WhatsApp's iOS version 26.8.76 update. After this update, users will see suggestions for related stickers while typing. For example, if a user types a laughing emoji, they will see stickers with funny reactions. Similarly, typing a heart emoji will bring up stickers related to love and emotions.
This feature aims to save users time and make chatting more interactive. Previously, to send stickers, users had to open the sticker keyboard and scroll through different packs. Now, as soon as they type an emoji, they will immediately see sticker options.
These were also added to WhatsApp.
In addition, WhatsApp has been working on several new features recently. The company recently introduced a group message history feature, allowing new users to view previous messages.
According to reports, the company is also working on SIM binding support for Indian users, which could further strengthen account security. A premium subscription plan, called WhatsApp Plus, may also be launched in the future. This plan is expected to offer additional customization and advanced features.
