Advance bookings for Dhurandhar: The Revenge opened in India roughly three hours ago, and the response has been phenomenal from the very beginning.
The Ranveer Singh starrer has already crossed the sale of 30,000 tickets, generating more than ₹1.25 crore nett in revenue. Out of this, nearly 20,000 tickets have come from PVR INOX alone.
What makes this even more remarkable is the timing as the advances have opened twelve days ahead of release, whereas most Bollywood films typically begin advance bookings only three to five days before hitting theatres.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE ADVANCE BOOKINGS GO ON A RAMPAGE... Advance bookings for the *paid previews* on 18 March 2026 have just commenced, and #DhurandharTheRevenge is already trending on #BMS, selling a staggering 7.5k tickets per hour. Amazing, isn't it?”

For now, bookings are available only for the paid preview shows scheduled on March 18, and even those are limited to major national multiplex chains such as PVR INOX, Cinepolis and MovieMax Cinemas. A few additional cinemas have already begun opening bookings ahead of schedule, while more theatres are expected to follow as the day progresses.
The apparent strategy is to capitalise on premium-priced preview screenings first before gradually releasing the rest of the show inventory. Holding back the remaining slots for long may prove difficult, so advance bookings for the rest of the opening weekend could start rolling out by the end of the day.
The scale of showcasing planned for the preview day is particularly striking. In multiplexes with two to four screens, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is being allotted the final two shows of the day exclusively. Meanwhile, larger multiplexes housing six to ten screens have dedicated most of their screens to the film, leaving only one or two for other releases.
As the release date draws closer, even those remaining screens may eventually shift in favour of the film.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be released on March 19.
