Yellapura: A 23-year-old man died after allegedly jumping from the Jenukallu hill near Magod in Yellapura.
The deceased has been identified as Srinidhi Krishna Kadakol, a resident of Kampali Basaveshwara Nagar in Hosa Yellapur area of Dharwad.
According to reports, Srinidhi had left home on March 4, telling his family that he was going to Gokarna on his scooter. However, his body was found on March 7 at Jenukallu hill.
Police suspect that he may have jumped from the hill into the gorge. The body was later recovered from the spot.
A complaint regarding the incident has been filed at the police station by his father Krishna Srinivas Kadakol, who works as a manager in a bank in Dharwad.
Further investigation is underway.
