Smartphones are now an integral part of our lives. From listening to music to office work – everything is done in this one device. But for a long time no radical change in smartphone features has been seen. Now artificial intelligence or AI is coming to the scene to cut that drought. To change the practical experience of the phone, Samsung is bringing an amazing idea called ‘vibe coding’.

Till now users only depended on apps downloaded from play store. But if this new technology of Samsung is successful, the user will be able to change the app according to his choice. You can even create your own function for a very small personal need. Samsung’s Mobile Experience (MX) division chief Won-Joon Choi said users have always been limited to built-in apps or tools. But when ‘vibe coding’ technology comes, people can customize apps according to their needs.

While the issue is still in its infancy, Samsung is seriously considering adding it to their One UI interface. But Samsung is not alone, other companies have also entered this battle of creating apps with AI. In September 2025, a company named ‘Nothing’ launched their ‘Playground’ platform. There it is possible to create small widgets like flight tracker or meeting briefs by writing a small text prompt.

Technology experts say that tools like Open AI’s ‘Codex’ or Anthropic’s ‘Clad Agent’ are making it possible to quickly create apps even if you don’t know coding. Recently, a journalist created a functional Mac app in just 15 minutes using Codex.

In the future, smartphones will no longer be limited to apps provided by software companies. The user becomes the designer himself. However, how simple this complex technology can be presented to the common people is now a big challenge. If companies like Samsung or Apple succeed in this, the definition of smartphone usage will change forever.
