Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan has advised his son Ibrahim Ali Khan to build his own place in the film industry. The actor recently spoke about his son’s journey in films during a podcast interview.

Ibrahim made his acting debut with the film Nadaniyaan, produced by Karan Johar, but the movie and his performance did not receive much appreciation. His second film Sarzameen also failed to perform well at the box office.

During the interview, Saif Ali Khan said that it is “unfair” when actors get opportunities solely because of their parents.

He explained that when someone receives repeated chances but fails to deliver good work, the public starts to view it as injustice.

Saif Ali Khan added that he will certainly help his children, but only to a certain extent.

“I tell Ibrahim that I cannot stand by you all the time because you have already been given a lot. Now you have to create your own place,” he said.
