Queen Elizabeth's final words to Sarah Ferguson were a clear indicator of how she really felt about her, it has been claimed. The former Duchess of York may have now plunged into humiliation after the latest revelations about her close bond with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and although the late Queen's reaction to the scandal can never be known, her feelings towards her former daughter-in-law were more than obvious.
Speaking to The Times in 2024, just two years after Elizabeth's death in 2022, Ms Ferguson spoke about the late monarch's final words to her. She said: "But the [late] Queen never lost me.
"The best advice she gave me was the last thing she said to me: 'Sarah, remember that yourself is good enough.'
"It makes me cry."
According to Hello!, Elizabeth's final words to Ms Ferguson appeared to "speak to her bond with Sarah".
Elsewhere in the Times interview, Fergie, as she is otherwise known, said of the late monarch: "It's why Queen Elizabeth and I got on so well.
"My mum was her close friend so she knew me all my life and she loved me.

"The Queen was much more my mother than my mother was. I called her Mumma.
"She never let me down, even if I let her down. Even through the darkest days, she never left me."
Ms Ferguson has not commented on the latest revelations in the Epstein files and her representatives have been repeatedly contacted.
