After the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPBSE) board exams, students are now awaiting their results. Meanwhile, preparations for the evaluation of answer sheets are almost complete. Several new measures have been implemented to make the evaluation process more transparent and faster. Four evaluation centers have been set up in the district, where answer sheets will be checked under the surveillance of CCTV cameras.
For the first time, examiners have been allowed to upload their marks directly online. The board believes this new system will expedite the evaluation process and ensure faster release of results.
Four Evaluation Centers Set Up in the District
Four centers have been designated in the district for the evaluation of answer sheets for the UP Board's high school and intermediate examinations. According to District School Inspector Chandrashekhar, intermediate answer sheets will be evaluated at the Government Inter College in Panchkuiyan and RBS Inter College.
High school answer sheets will be evaluated at the National Model Higher Secondary School on Mau Road, Khandari, and the Municipal Corporation Inter College in Tajganj. Evaluation at all these centers will be conducted under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Additionally, the entire process will be monitored from the examination control room to eliminate any potential irregularities.
Marks will be uploaded online for the first time.
This year, the Board has implemented a new system to modernize the evaluation process. Examiners will now directly feed their marks online after checking the answer sheets. This will speed up the process of compiling the marks and reduce the time required to declare the results. All necessary facilities, including drinking water, toilets, large sitting halls, and CCTV cameras, have already been provided at the evaluation centers. A physical verification of these arrangements has been conducted, and the report has been sent to the Board office.
Strict Instructions for Examiners
The Board has also issued clear guidelines for examiners. According to this, an examiner will be allowed to check a maximum of 700 answers in high school and 600 in intermediate. No examiner will be assigned more than 50 answer sheets in a day. If an examiner leaves the evaluation center without permission, leaving the evaluation work incomplete, a show-cause notice will be issued against them. Additionally, if cash is found in any answer sheets, it will be deposited in the treasury, and strict action will be taken against the student concerned.
With the new system, it is hoped that the UP Board results may be declared earlier than before.
