Trouble has been stirring up between Trisha Krishnan and Radhakrishan Parthiban after he made some unnecessary comments about the actress that did not sit well with her. Not only did she thrash him for it, but he also later apologised for the rude comment.
It was during an award show that he was asked to comment on actors and actresses he had previously worked with. Things only worsened after Trisha’s photo was shown, and now he is repenting for it.

Taking to X, Trisha Krishan spoke about how not every comment needs to be passed. Controversy started brewing when the actress was spotted with Vijay Thalapathy as they attended a wedding together right after rumours of their affair began to surface. Parthiban was asked to comment on her during an award show, and his words did not sit well with her.
"Indha Kundavaiye konjaneram kunthavaikkirathu nallath (It is better to ask this Kundavai to sit at home for a while) ... It is better if she doesn't step out because it is creating a lot of issues," said Parthiban.
I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant.

A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder.Crude words…
To this, Trisha replied upon being enraged. “I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant.”
She continued, “A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder. Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they’re aimed at.”

Parthiban took to X with a video of him apologising for his comments. "Sometimes, some mistakes happen unintentionally. At the Galatta awards event, while I was, without thinking much, swiftly answering the 20 questions that were posed to me like how it would be posed in a rapid-fire session, Trisha's picture came up on screen."
"While I was wondering what to say, people shouted 'Kundavai' 'Kundavai' (Trisha's character name in the Mani Ratnam film Ponniyin Selvan). Immediately, only to play on the word 'Kundavaï, I said, 'Make Kundavai sit at home, to ensure that problems do not come.' (Kundavai also means to make someone sit). The entire auditorium clapped."
"I immediately requested Galatta Aruna not to publish this. However, it has come out through a video shot by someone. I have come to realise that it has hurt some people, and I wholeheartedly express my regret. I don't prefer problems to get big. Even when I visit colleges, I only speak about women's freedom. Everybody must divorce unnecessary constraints and embrace freedom and live happily. So, women are the world's biggest creative force.”
He publicly admitted having made a mistake with the comment and clarified that he had even asked for the comment not to be published. Still, the video went viral and created an entire ordeal of controversy.
