Delhi: After the end of the T20 World Cup, today the International Cricket Council i.e. ICC has announced the best playing 11 of the tournament. Captain Suryakumar Yadav, who won the T20 World Cup for India, has not got a place in this ICC team. Four Indian players have been successful in making it to the Team of the Tournament. These include the names of Sanju Samson, Jasprit Bumrah Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan.

Let us tell you that after the conclusion of every event, ICC selects its best playing 11 of the tournament. The team is selected by a special panel. This time the playing 11 has been selected by veterans Ian Bishop, Natalie Germanos, Eoin Morgan (Broadcasters), Gaurav Saxena (ICC representative) and Rex Clementine (Sports
Journalist).

This panel has made Markram the captain in place of winning captain Surya. Even though Suryakumar was successful in the tournament as captain, his performance as a player was very shameful.

At the same time, both Markram’s captaincy and batting were amazing. His team had traveled till the semi-finals remaining unbeaten. However, South Africa had to face a humiliating defeat at the hands of New Zealand in the semi-finals.

Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan scored a lot of runs in the tournament

This tournament proved to be very memorable for the opening batsman of the Indian team. He scored 321 runs in 5 matches, in which his average was above 80 and strike rate was 199.37. Samson played tremendous half-centuries in the last three matches for the team and was chosen Player of the Tournament.

Whereas, Ishan Kishan was the second Indian to score the most runs in the tournament. He scored 317 runs in 9 innings, which included 3 fifties.

Pandya and Bumrah were brilliant

In the tournament, Pandya once again won the hearts of the fans with his all-round performance. He contributed 217 runs in batting. Pandya scored these runs at a strike rate above 160. He took 9 wickets in bowling.

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah proved to be the biggest match winner for India. 15 wickets came in his account. In the final against New Zealand, Bumrah took 4 wickets for 15 runs and became the player of the match.
