Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly "terrified" that their mum, Sarah Ferguson, will release a tell-all memoir. Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, are currently dealing with the fallout over their parents' connection to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Sarah, who has previously released two major autobiographies, is said to be considering a third book uncovering secrets about the Royal Family. The former Duchess of York released My Story in 1996, followed by Finding Sarah: A Duchess's Journey to Find Herself in 2011.
Following speculation that Sarah could be set to write a new tell-all book, it has been reported that her daughters have tried to turn her against the idea.
A source told Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop: "The girls are terrified. They've pleaded with Sarah not to do it.
"Sarah knows everything. She knows exactly how the family would react if another tell-all came out."
Beatrice and Eugenie are said to be worried that they will be further outcast by the royals, especially after reports that they are banned from this year's Royal Ascot.
Another insider added: "If Sarah writes the book, the daughters will pay the price. Sarah has very little to lose. Except her daughters".
It has been reported in December that Sarah could be offered "as much as half a million dollars" for a tell-all, with the royal said to know "exactly what she could sell".
Speaking about the reported Ascot ban, a source recently told the Mail on Sunday: "Beatrice has taken it the hardest. She's been completely blindsided by all of this."
The publication reported that the decision comes as part of a plan to exclude Beatrice and Eugenie from public-facing events amid the scandal surrounding the House of York and its ties with Epstein.
