Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has highlighted several ongoing infrastructure and public service initiatives in the national capital, outlining developments related to transportation, healthcare facilities, environmental management and urban connectivity.

In remarks shared publicly, the chief minister referred to various projects that are currently underway or expanding in Delhi. Among the initiatives mentioned were the introduction and expansion of electric buses aimed at strengthening public transport while reducing environmental impact. Authorities have also been focusing on improving connectivity through expressway networks surrounding the city, which are intended to help manage traffic movement and reduce congestion in key areas.

Connectivity improvements linked to the Delhi Metro were also highlighted as part of the city’s ongoing infrastructure expansion. The metro network continues to grow through the addition of new routes and extensions, which are expected to provide residents with more transport options across different parts of the capital and its surrounding regions. Environmental initiatives were another area referenced during the update. Efforts related to the cleaning and restoration of the Yamuna River were described as being carried out through coordinated measures involving different agencies.

The project has been discussed in policy circles for several years and includes steps aimed at addressing pollution and improving river conditions. The chief minister also referred to the development of public welfare and healthcare-related facilities in the city. These include the establishment of health centres referred to as Ayushman Arogya Mandir and community food service centres known as Atal Canteen, which are intended to support residents through accessible services.
