About the Hoppip Event in Pokopia
The “More Spores for Hoppip” event is the first limited-time event in Pokémon Pokopia, which will be running from March 9 to March 24, 2026. This is a great and exciting thing one can be a part of within the game. If you’ve rebuilt your town’s Pokémon Center, Hoppip will be just a few seconds away from you. The crux of the event involves visiting Dream Islands to gather “Cotton Spores.” You can also trade these with Hoppip for some furniture and seeds to grow flowers. They all have their uniqueness, and it is truly a collection. These items are important for creating specific habitats that attract Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff to your town, because let’s face it, you have to do it. If you like being a part of the events or simply want to be there to gather some good community, this is quite an opportunity.

The Center
To be eligible, you must have finished the “Rebuilding the Pokémon Center” questline. The event triggers for your account only once the Center is fully operational.

You will find a new and decorated Pokémon Center. Go there, and you’ll see Hoppip hanging out near the front entrance. Simply interact with it to trigger the event dialogue and officially “accept” the task to start.
Unlock Dream Islands
Once you’ve talked to Hoppip, you’ll unlock access to the Dream Islands via the ferry port. This is going to be fun! You’re on the right track.
Gather Resources
Once you have unlocked the access, just travel to the Dream Islands and start exploring. You have to find the floating spores. It is by collecting these that you earn the event currency.
Start Crafting
Once you have taken care of everything mentioned, you can return to your town and use the terminal near the Pokémon Center to trade your gathered spores for some nice picnic furniture and flower seeds.
