Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, a cabinet meeting was held at Lok Bhawan on 10 March 2026 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In this meeting, 31 important proposals to the state’s development, good governance and people’s convenience were approved. Cabinet ministers Suresh Khanna, Ravindra Jaiswal and Dayashankar Singh informed about these decisions.

These include big steps like bringing transparency in land registry, starting bus service in rural areas and changing the rules of government employees.

Strict investigation now necessary in land registry

Yogi government has taken a big decision to stop land mafia and land fraud. The proposal of the Stamp and Registration Department has been approved. Now, before land registration, it will be mandatory to check all the revenue records to Khatauni and ownership. Without this investigation no registry will be possible.

With this, the money of common people will be safe and fraud through fake documents will be stopped. Minister Ravindra Jaiswal said that this step is a direct attack on the corruption of the land mafia.

Relief to villages from Chief Minister Village Transport Scheme

The Transport Department’s ‘Mukhyamantri Gram Parivahan Yojana’ has got the green signal. Through this scheme, bus service will reach 12,200 remote villages of Uttar Pradesh. Where earlier buses did not go, small and medium buses will now ply there. These 28 seater buses will be able to easily run on village roads. This will make it much easier for students, farmers and patients to travel to and from the city.

  • The buses will stop there after reaching the village at night.
  • Will leave for the district headquarters before 10 am.
  • Will again go to the villages from 4 pm to 8 pm.
  • The bus will make at least two trips to every village.
  • No tax or permit will be required on these buses.
  • The fare will be decided by the District Magistrate’s committee.

Rules also apply to companies like Ola-Uber

The Cabinet has made new rules for app-based cab and taxi companies like Ola, Uber and Rapido. Now they will have to register in the transport department. The application fee has been kept at Rs 25,000. The company will have to deposit Rs 5 lakh.

Rs 5,000 for renewal and renewal will be required every 5 years. These rules have been implemented as per the guidelines of the Central Government.

Strict conduct rules for government employees

On the proposal of the Personnel Department, the conduct rules of government employees have been amended. Now if an employee buys or sells any movable property (like car, gold or other things) worth more than his two months’ basic salary, he will have to inform his officer.

Also, declaration will be mandatory if any amount more than six months’ basic salary is invested in the stock market. This change has been made to increase transparency and prevent corruption.
