Investigations launched into Grok-generated images
Authorities in Europe and several countries launched investigations into Grok-generated images. The European Union also stepped in, labeling the images "illegal" and launching its own investigation.
Even after xAI (the company behind Grok) restricted some editing features, tests showed Grok still produced explicit content when prompted, much more than other big-name AI models.
Imran Ahmed leads CCDH, a group focused on exposing online extremism and harmful digital content.
He's been vocal about holding tech companies accountable for what their platforms create or allow online.
