Udaipur, March 9, 2026 (Read): Beneficiaries in India receive LPG subsidy under a government scheme. The subsidy for LPG cylinder buyers was introduced under the Ujjwala Yojana by the Modi government. With a subsidy of ₹300, the price of the LPG cylinder becomes lower for eligible consumers.
Recently, the price of LPG cylinders in India increased by ₹60, taking the price to ₹913. However, after the ₹300 subsidy, the effective cost comes down to ₹613. Earlier, the subsidy amount was ₹200, which was later increased to ₹300.
If the LPG subsidy is not visible in your bank account, there may be several reasons for it. In many cases, people do not receive the subsidy because it is transferred to an old bank account or fails to reach the correct account. However, consumers can easily check every refill and subsidy transfer online from home to ensure that the subsidy reaches the correct place.
Many households in the country rely heavily on LPG subsidy for cooking due to low income. If the subsidy is missed or transferred to an old or incorrect bank account, it can create difficulties. By checking the transfer status online, consumers can quickly identify the issue and ensure that the subsidy amount is credited properly.
