On Wednesday, Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will finalize its seat-sharing agreement for the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections amicably. Expressing confidence in the NDA's victory, Goyal stated that the alliance would form a government under the leadership of AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami. Speaking to the media before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Tiruchirappalli, he mentioned that discussions regarding seat allocations are ongoing, and once finalized, the press will be informed. The agreement will be concluded in a friendly manner.

Criticizing the DMK, Goyal called for a change in Tamil Nadu, expressing excitement about the NDA coalition welcoming Prime Minister Modi at the large public gathering. He emphasized that the people of Tamil Nadu desire change and good governance, wanting to eradicate the corruption associated with the Stalin government. He noted that they disapprove of Udhayanidhi Stalin's anti-Tamil culture and leadership. Goyal highlighted a wave of support for the NDA in Tamil Nadu, led by Prime Minister Modi at the center and Palaniswami in the state.

Furthermore, he accused Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin of engaging in "divisive politics" and stated that the DMK does not accept the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. Goyal remarked that Prime Minister Modi has a deep affection for the people of Tamil Nadu and respects their culture and pride. He expressed a desire for Tamil Nadu to become the best state in the country, with all central government policies implemented in the state, while the Tamil Nadu government works for the development of its people. He recalled the golden days of Amma's governance, contrasting it with the current issues like the TASMAC liquor scam and the sand mafia.

Goyal further asserted that the dreams of the DMK would be shattered when voters cast their ballots. He claimed that the people of the state do not accept the divisive politics of the Stalin family, which has lowered the standards of politics in Tamil Nadu. He accused them of attempting to obstruct Prime Minister Modi's programs and stated that Stalin has lost public support. He noted that M.K. Stalin is trying to force the DMK to accept Udhayanidhi Stalin. Today, Prime Minister Modi is set to inaugurate several development projects worth approximately ₹5,650 crores in Tiruchirappalli, dedicating them to the nation, laying foundations, and flagging off initiatives.
