Germany has raised fresh concerns about Iran’s position on diplomacy and regional tensions. German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said the current leadership in Tehran is still showing hostility toward Israel and is not signaling readiness for a diplomatic resolution.

The remarks come as global powers continue to watch developments in the Middle East closely, with diplomatic efforts ongoing to ease tensions.

Germany says Iran not ready for diplomatic solution

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said recent signals from Tehran indicate that Iran is not currently prepared to pursue a diplomatic solution.

According to Wadephul, the statements coming from Iranian leadership suggest that negotiations are not yet being prioritized by the regime.

He added that a diplomatic outcome would still be possible if Iran were willing to engage in constructive dialogue.

The comments highlight ongoing frustration among Western governments over stalled diplomatic progress.

Germany warns Iran stance toward Israel remains hostile

Wadephul also said Germany remains concerned about Iran’s stance toward Israel. He stated that the current regime in Tehran continues to express positions that seek the elimination of the state of Israel.

Germany views such rhetoric as a major obstacle to stability in the region.

At the same time, Wadephul expressed confidence that both the United States and Israel remain open to a diplomatic solution if conditions allow.

He said that if Iran shows readiness for negotiations, a diplomatic path could still be achieved.

The statements reflect growing international pressure on Iran as global leaders push for dialogue while tensions in the region remain elevated.
