Weather patterns are rapidly changing in various states across India. In Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, residents are already feeling the heat earlier than expected, while Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a severe road accident due to dense fog. Meanwhile, the hilly regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are forecasted to experience rain and snowfall, potentially leading to a drop in temperatures.

Rising Temperatures in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

According to meteorological reports, temperatures in several cities of Rajasthan have soared to around 40 degrees Celsius. Areas like Jaipur, Kota, Barmer, and Bikaner are facing intense sunlight and hot winds, causing discomfort among the populace. Similarly, Madhya Pradesh is also experiencing noticeable heat, with many districts recording temperatures above 39 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists predict that temperatures may continue to rise in the coming days.

Major Accident in Uttar Pradesh Due to Fog

A significant road accident occurred in Uttar Pradesh this morning, attributed to thick fog. Reports indicate that seven vehicles collided on a highway in quick succession. Tragically, four individuals lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries. Emergency services and local authorities arrived promptly to assist the injured, who were transported to hospitals. The low visibility caused by the fog was a major factor in this incident.

Alert for Rain and Snow in Hilly States

The meteorological department has issued warnings for rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand over the next few days. It is believed that the activation of a western disturbance may lead to changing weather conditions in these mountainous areas, resulting in a drop in temperatures and an increase in cold weather.

Weather Department's Advisory

The weather department has advised the public to take precautions:

  • Stay protected from the sun in hot regions.

  • Drive cautiously in foggy areas.

  • Check weather updates before traveling to hilly regions.

Experts note that diverse weather conditions are currently being observed across different parts of the country, and further changes may occur in the days ahead.
