The makers of Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan starrer upcoming romantic drama *Ek Din* released a new poster on March 10, 2026, increasing the excitement ahead of the official trailer release on March 11, 2026.

The poster shows the lead pair in an adorable, magical moment, hinting at the film’s endearing love story. The accompanying social media post is captioned: “Love just needs a chance. Ek Din trailer out tomorrow. Watch #EkDin in theaters only on May 1, 2026.” This follows earlier promotions, which included a poster for Valentine’s Day 2026 featuring the two in a sweet supermarket scene and a teaser released in January 2026.

The teaser starts with Junaid’s character saying, “I love your smile, Meera…”, which sets a soft, emotional tone for the story. *Ek Din* (meaning One Day) is the Hindi remake of the 2016 Thai film *One Day*. It focuses on Rohan (Junaid), an awkward office worker who has unspoken feelings for his colleague Meera (Sai ​​Pallavi). The story explores whether one magical day can give birth to true love, mostly shot in beautiful locations like Japan as the vibe is poetic.

This is Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood debut with Junaid Khan (son of Aamir Khan, known for *Loveyapa* and *Maharaja*) working with her. In this film, Aamir Khan and filmmaker Mansoor Khan are coming together again as producers, before this they had made classic films like *Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak*, *Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar*, *Akele Hum Akele Tum*, and *Jaane Tu… Ya Ja Ne Na*, and this is a return to the romance genre. Directed by Sunil Pandey, written by Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra and co-produced by Aparna Purohit under Aamir Khan Productions, the film has music by Ram Sampat and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

One special thing about it is its title track which is sung by Arijit Singh. It was released with a music video in which Aamir visits Arijit in his hometown (Murshidabad/Jiyaganj) in early February 2026, soon after his retirement announcement, and personally sings to him and convinces him to reconsider.
