IPL 2026 Schedule: There is good news for cricket fans. The schedule of the first phase of the Indian Premier League has been released on 11 March. The tournament will begin on March 28, when the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Will play the first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at its home ground M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The second match will be held on March 29, in which Mumbai Indians (MI) Will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Wankhede Stadium. Whereas, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will start their campaign against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on March 30. This match will be played in Guwahati.

How many matches will there be in the first phase?

A total of 20 matches will be played in the first phase of IPL 2026. These also include two double headers, that is, there will be two matches on the same day. Talking about other important matches, there will be a match between Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans in Mullanpur on 31st March. Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals will face each other on April 1.

Eyes will be on big matches

A big match will be seen in Bengaluru on 5th April, when Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings will face each other. On April 12, a high-voltage match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Wankhede.

Dhoni will be seen playing in the match of Chennai Super Kings, Kohli in the match of RCB and Rohit Sharma will be seen playing in the match of Mumbai Indians. Dhoni 30 March, 3 April. Will be seen playing on 5th April and 11th April. Whereas, Kohli will be seen playing on March 28, April 5, April 10 and April 12, while Rohit will be seen in the field on March 29, April 4, April 7 and April 11.
