The Government of India is set to release the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme on Friday, March 13, 2026. Under the scheme, eligible farmers across the country will receive ₹2,000 directly in their bank accounts as financial assistance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to transfer the funds during a special event scheduled in Guwahati, Assam. The amount will be credited to beneficiaries through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, ensuring that the money reaches farmers without intermediaries.

How to Check Your Name in the PM-Kisan Beneficiary List

Follow these steps to check your name in the beneficiary list:

1. Visit the official PM-Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in

2. On the homepage, go to the Farmers Corner section

3. Click on the Beneficiary List option

4. Select your state, district, block, and village

5. Click on Get Report

Once these steps are completed, the list of beneficiaries from the selected village will appear on the screen.

Farmers Who May Not Receive the 22nd Installment

Certain categories of farmers may not receive the upcoming installment if they do not meet eligibility criteria or verification requirements.

Farmers who may face payment delays include:

• Those who purchased agricultural land after February 1, 2019

• Families where more than one member is receiving benefits under the scheme (for example, both husband and wife)

• Cases where physical verification of beneficiary details is still pending

In such situations, payments may be temporarily withheld until the verification process is completed.

Is Farmer ID Mandatory for Registration?

The government has introduced Farmer ID as a mandatory requirement for new registrations in 14 states.

These states include:

• Uttar Pradesh

• Bihar

• Madhya Pradesh

• Rajasthan

• Maharashtra

• Gujarat

• Karnataka

• Tamil Nadu

• Telangana

• Andhra Pradesh

• Kerala

• Odisha

• Chhattisgarh

• Assam

However, in states where the farmer registry system has not yet been fully implemented, Farmer ID may not be required for new registrations at the moment.
