Sweet Apple: Apple is a nutritious fruit. Its consumption is considered beneficial for health. Apple is a fruit which is available in the market throughout the year. Many varieties of apples are available in the market. Many people also have confusion in buying it. Because many times it is not clear whether the apple will be sweet or not. It is not necessary that an apple that looks red on the outside should be very sweet on the inside. In such a situation, by following some easy tricks, you can identify a sweet apple without cutting it. Let us know about this easy method.

1. Color and texture
Light yellow or beige spots: A completely dark red apple looks good, but if the apple has a slight yellow or golden sheen on the underside, it is ripe on the tree.

Small white grains: If the small white grain-like marks on the surface of the apple are visible and clear, then the apple is more likely to be sweet.

Peel: The peel of the apple should be hard. If the peel is loose or wrinkled, the apple may be old and tasteless.

2. Weight and strength
Choose a heavy apple: Try holding the apple in your hand. If it is heavy for its size, it means that it is rich in juice.

Try pressing: Press the apple gently. It should not be hard like stone, but solid. If it feels soft when pressed with your thumb, it may come out like “dough” on the inside.

3. Fragrance
Smell: A well-ripe and sweet apple has a mild sweet smell. If there is no smell coming from it, then it was probably plucked raw.

4. Stalk part
Stalk color: If the apple’s stalk is still attached and is green or brown, it is fresh. If the stalk is very dry or missing, the apple may be old.

keep this in mind

In the market, wax is often applied on apples to make them shine. To check this, you can scratch it lightly with your nail. If white powder comes out, it is better to wash or peel the apple in lukewarm water before eating.
