In such a situation, if you also want to make the right choice while buying grapes from the market, then it is important to keep some small things in mind. By looking at the colour, shape, texture and condition of the bunch, it can be easily determined whether the grapes are sweet or sour. Let us know which 5 things should be kept in mind while buying.

Pay attention to the color of grapes
While buying grapes, first look carefully at its color. If you are buying green grapes then their color should be light yellow or golden green. Such grapes are usually sweeter. Grapes that are too dark green can often be slightly sour. The color of black grapes should be dark and shiny.

See the surface and shine of the grapes
A light white powdery layer appears on the surface of good and sweet grapes, which is called natural wax or bloom. This indicates that the grapes are fresh and have not been stored for long. If grapes look too shiny or sticky then it is better to avoid buying them.

check the strength of the bunch
Look at the bunch of grapes by gently picking them up. If the grapes are firmly attached to the stalk and are not falling off easily, this is a sign of freshness. Loose or drooping grapes are often old and do not taste good.

Grape size and texture
Sweet grapes are usually full and firm in shape. If the grapes appear too soft, shriveled or wrinkled, they are not fresh. Such grapes may also be bland or sour in taste.

The color of the stalk also indicates freshness.
While buying grapes, definitely check the color of their stalks. If the stalks look green and fresh, it means the grapes have been recently picked. But if the stalks look brown or dry, the grapes are likely old and less good tasting.
