This recruitment is for Agniveer SSR 01/2027 and 02/2027, Agniveer MR 01/2027 and 02/2027, and SSR (Medical) 02/2027 batches. Who can apply?
Agniveer (SSR): For this position, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized board and must have at least 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates with 50% marks in a 3-year engineering diploma in a relevant field are also eligible. Candidates with 50% marks in a 2-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics are also eligible.
Agniveer (MR): For this position, candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) from a recognized board and must have at least 50% marks in aggregate.
SSR (Med): For this position, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB). A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 40% in each subject are required.
How will the selection be conducted?
Selection Process Details
The INET (Computer-Based Test) will be the first online objective test. Based on this, candidates will be selected for the next stage.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): This stage will test the physical fitness of the candidates. It will include a 1.6 km run, squats, push-ups, and sit-ups.
Written Test: Candidates who pass the PFT will have to take another objective-type written test.
Medical Examination: In this stage, candidates will undergo a medical examination as per Indian Navy regulations.
Provisional Selection List: The final merit list will be based on the scores of the second stage written examination, but passing the PFT and medical examination will be required.
Application Fee:
All candidates applying for the Indian Navy's INET 2026 recruitment will be required to pay an application fee of ₹550. 18% GST will also be levied on this amount. Candidates must pay the application fee online. Selected Agniveers will be paid a salary of approximately ₹30,000 per month in the first year.
