What is the Barbed Wire Fencing Scheme?
The Rajasthan government is offering a subsidy of 50% of the cost or a maximum of ₹40,000 (up to 400 running meters) for farm protection under the 'Barbed Wire Fencing Scheme'. A minimum of 0.5 to 1.5 hectares of land is required for individual or group applications. Applications can be made online or through an e-Mitra center with Aadhaar, Jamabandi, and bank details.
Eligibility
At least 1.5 hectares of land in a single location for individuals or farmer groups
Minimum 0.5 hectares of land in Scheduled Tribe (ST) areas
For community applications, groups of 10 or more farmers own more than 5 hectares of land.
