It's been nearly four years since audiences last saw actress Holliday Grainger in the role of Rachel Carey in the crime-drama The Capture.
Following the conclusion of series two in 2022, fans were eager for the show's return and were delighted when the BBC announced last year that six new episodes were in the pipeline.
This month marked the launch of the third series, with Holliday reprising her role alongside a star-studded cast including Ron Perlman, Paapa Essiedu, Ginny Holder, Tessa Wong and Ben Miles.
In a recent behind-the-scenes clip shared on BBC iPlayer's Instagram, Naomi Julian chatted with some of the cast about what viewers can anticipate from this series.
Updating fans on her character's journey, Holliday Grainger revealed that Rachel begins series 3 as the acting commander of SO15, reports the Mirror.
Discussing the day's filming, she hinted: "This is one of the last scenes of the series. This is when Carey gets some kind of relatively big revelations."
As Naomi explored more of the set, she explained that one scene required Holliday to stare at a blank surveillance screen and act as though she could see what would be added in post-production.
When asked about the challenges of performing emotional scenes in the show, specifically crying on cue, the actress admitted it wasn't an issue. In fact, she confessed it was quite the opposite, recalling a problem she faced during the first series.

She responded: "Me and Ben, the director and showrunner, didn't want Carey to cry at various points and if I get like intense emotions my eyes tend to cry! Sometimes it's more like, 'Don't don't, don't do that, not this time, stop it!".
This year, BBC audiences will witness Rachel Carey expose a geopolitical crisis as she unearths yet another conspiracy.
A synopsis states: "It's been 12 months since Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger) broadcast a live deepfake of a government minister to the nation, exposing the UK intelligence service's clandestine video manipulation programme known as Correction.
"Amidst an inquiry into the unlawful use of Correction, Carey has become Acting Commander of Counter Terrorism Command, determined to regain the public's trust in surveillance technology through the new Operation Veritas camera system.
"And then it happens: a brutal and exceptionally well-coordinated act of terror aimed right at the heart of the British establishment that leaves behind just one witness.
"The more Carey investigates, the deeper she is drawn into an unfolding geopolitical crisis that infects the British political establishment, the security services, and the media. The conspiracy reaches deep into the State, but just who is pulling the strings?"
The Capture continues Sunday on BBC One from 9pm.
