Bee is in an internal pilot and will enter beta soon
Bee is in an internal pilot and is expected to enter beta soon and uses both chat and voice to onboard users, match people based on shared intentions, and notify pairs when there's a spark.
In the future, it will suggest date ideas and collect anonymous feedback.
Bumble has discussed potential future Bee features such as helping with first messages or suggesting or scheduling dates; no paid tier called Premium Plus has been specified.
Bumble pulled in $224.2 million last quarter, with paying users now spending $22.20 each on average.
The new AI-powered Bumble 2.0 strategy is all about appealing to Gen Z who are tired of endless swiping (and exploring broader social formats such as group socializing).
