The district administration has adopted a strict stance on the complaints of black marketing and illegal sale of LPG cylinders that have been received in the district for a long time. A district level control room has been formed with the aim of ensuring easy availability of gas cylinders to consumers and cracking down on black marketing. Now common citizens can directly contact the administration for any problem to gas cylinder.
This step has been taken after special instructions from Collector Shivam Verma, so that the distribution system of domestic gas cylinders in the district can be made smooth and transparent. The administration aims to ensure that consumers do not face any kind of hassle.
Helpline number released for complaints
District Supply Controller M.L. Giving information about this arrangement, Maru said that the main objective of the control room is to provide an effective platform to the consumers. He said, “This control room has been set up to stop illegal sale and black marketing of domestic and commercial gas cylinders.”
Consumer can give their complaint or any suggestion helpline number. 0731-2993900 But you can register during office hours. Apart from this, they can also present their problems personally by appearing in room number 221 of the Collectorate office.

A dedicated team has been deployed in the control room for quick and effective redressal of complaints. This team includes senior officers as well as technical staff, who will keep records of complaints and coordinate with the concerned department.
